Rosie’s House has the following requirements for admission:
Financial
We accept students based upon the following financial basis (HUD guidelines for low-income).
Number of People in Household
2 Income less than 38,500
3 Income less than 43,300
4 Income less than 48,100
5 Income less than 51,950
6 Income less than 55,800
7 Income less than 59,650
8 Income less than 63,500
There is no tuition charge, and if you need an instrument, one can be loaned to you.
There will be a nominal charge for an instruction book and practice folder.
Other Requirements
We require that parents volunteer four hours per child per semester. This volunteer time may often be filled while your child is in class.
Your child is required to do the following:
Practice twenty-five minutes per day (or as specified by the teacher).
Be absent no more than three times per semester.
Attend class with a desire to learn.
All students must go through a music interview to be accepted at Rosie’s House for lessons, and students and their parents must attend an orientation before lessons begin.
